Nothing’s sexier than seven men with hot rods.
Hot Rods, Book 1
After Eli’s mother died, his father honored her life’s mission as a social worker by taking in several kids from the wrong side of the tracks. Not all of them stuck, but those who did became Eli’s quasi family.
Their bonds, forged in fires set by their personal demons, are unbreakable—or so Eli wants to believe. Especially since he and Alanso, his best friend and head mechanic, witnessed the overpowering allure of polyamory while visiting the Powertools crew.
Much as Eli would like to deepen the relationships among his foster brothers and sister in the Hot Rods Restoration Team, he’s hesitant to risk everything on a quick romp behind a stack of tires.
But when Eli catches Alanso exploring their mutual fantasy at a known hookup spot in a public park, all bets are off. And Eli must decide if it’s time to jump in full throttle—and trust his instincts to guide him through the night. If the pair can dodge the potholes in their own relationship, maybe they can race together toward the unconventional arrangement with Mustang Sally they both desire.

Warning: Fasten your seatbelts, this is going to be a wild (and naughty) ride!

A day in the life of Jayne Rylon
Well this is a funny thing! My life has changed so drastically just this week (as I am writing this). Thanks to my amazing, fantastic, extra-awesome readers, I was able to quit my day job and am now a full time author. I can hardly believe this dream is finally real and I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me by buying my books. I can’t tell you what it means to be able to do something I love everyday.

Prior to this week, I was the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for a Fortune 500 company. My days were pretty darn hectic including an hour and a half roundtrip commute each day, a high pressure career and balancing writing on top of that. I’m in no way complaining. I’ve been so fortunate to have two things I enjoy and both my careers were successful and gaining steam at the same time. But I couldn’t do double duty forever. I haven’t watched TV in five years! And hardly saw my husband at all. So when he sat me down one day and said the time is now… I took the plunge.

These days my life is so different, it’s amazing. I still get up at 5:30 every morning with my husband but now instead of driving like a maniac to get to a meeting or produce a weekend sales report or whatever, I stop by the kitchen, grab some breakfast then wander down to my home office. It’s purple and lovely as we remodeled the space last year in preparation for “someday” that came sooner than expected. My goal is to be really focused and write from 7-11 and 12-5 every day until I get pretty far ahead on my contracts. Right now I have twelve outstanding contracts so… yeah… I need to write a lot.

Eventually I have plans to throw in a trip to the gym and aquazumba but I had my wisdom teeth out last week and am still all messed up from that so that’s on hold for just a bit. I take breaks to throw in some laundry or do the dishes or give my cats fresh water or just stand on my back deck and watch the swans in our pond if it’s warm enough (which it’s finally starting to be!). Mr. Rylon must not know what to do with himself since he’s been doing all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. for the past five or six years.

In the evenings I actually get to spend a little time with him as we eat dinner then it’s usually back to work on the non-writing aspects of being an author. Social media (ahem, procrastination), corresponding with my editors, marketing plans, website updates, arrangements for conference travel and promotion… all that happens in the evenings right now.
Every day I’m so thankful that I get to do what I love. It kind of hasn’t sunk in yet that this is really my new life and not just a temporary vacation from what I’ve become so used to. Sleeping more than two hours a night, writing during the day, it’s…. the best gift ever.
So, truly, THANK YOU all.
