A Murder Mystery… Aurélie Segler-DeMarche is a smart, independent woman who works as a journalist for a top rated news network, engaged to a wealthy blue-blood and living a life most women would dream of when she learns her sister, catalogue and runway model Trésor DeMarche, has died under mysterious circumstances. The police are quick to rule the death a suicide but she knows there is more to the story than meets the eye. Wrapped in a Love Affair… Trésor’s lover, Rory Krieger, is dangerous for all the right reasons: he’s wealthy, successful, drop-dead gorgeous and owns some of the most exclusive BDSM clubs in the country. Aurélie is shocked to find out her sister was part of this sub-culture but she soon realizes in order to solve a mystery, she will to have to infiltrate a closed community where reality is an altered state of mind. Of Bondage, Domination, Sadism and Masochism… Aurélie quickly finds out not only is she no match for the multifaceted and intelligent Rory, his
life with Trésor was a lot more complicated than imagined. An indecent proposal leads to more than a night of passion, and raises more questions than answers. What happens when there is no where to go but deeper before the truth is revealed?

Killing Time is a suspenseful mystery novel with enough sex and BSDM thrown it that it is also an erotic romance. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out the answers through the whole book and enjoyed the plot twists and the international feel to Killing Time.

Aurélie must decide how far she is willing to go to get the answers she seeks in her sisters death, is it worth diving into a lifestyle you are afraid got her killed to look for the truth? Should the obscenely wealthy be allowed to get away with what ever they want just because they can buy themselves out of trouble?

Rory is a question all on his own, what is his involvement? What about Seven? Could something from his past be the reason for Trésor’s death? If Aurélie submits to him for just the one night will it be enough? for either of them?

I really enjoyed this book, I found the characters well written and the story line had enough twists and turns that you were second and third guessing "who done it" through out. The BDSM is written in as just part of the story and doesn't feel like it was forced or as an after thought but as a seamless part of the plot line and story.
I give Killing time 4 out of 5 flowers
