I want to thank Stacey for taking the time to answer a few questions for us here at the blog, I love her work so learning a bit more about her is great. Take it away Stacy...

How did you get into writing? Was it an always wanted to or it just happened?
The day I sat down and wrote my first book was when I realized I wanted to be a writer. Honestly, it happened just like that. I had no dreams of becoming an author, but my love for books came from reading after my daughter was born. She slept A LOT in that first year, so it gave me a lot of time to sit and read. Then a story came to me, and that was that—my love for writing developed!

This is a contemporary book, you also write paranormal do you have a favorite?
My first love is the paranormal romance genre. It’s my favorite genre to read and I honestly have a total blast writing it. I’m totally one of those authors who write because I have fun doing it. All of my books are written for my own personal enjoyment and it just makes me so happy that other people enjoy them, too. But I also love sexy contemporary stories, so I couldn't actually say I have a favorite. Usually whatever story I'm working on is my favorite!

What do you read when you have a chance?
I adore Katie MacAlister’s dragon series and Sylvia Day’s Crossfire novels. I love Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Lux series. Jeaniene Frost is an auto-buy for me and I adore the Night Huntress world, especially Vlad. But Keri Arthur is, by far, my favorite author and who inspires me the most. I love everything about her books; the mystery, the sexual tension and the fantasy elements. Her Riley Jenson Guardian novels were the books that made me fall in love with the genre. Now, I’m totally obsessed with her Dark Angels novels and just can’t get enough!

You stopped smoking a little while back how is that going?
Well, I'm not a non-smoker. If there is beer or martinis around, I always crave one or two. Let's just say, I'm a work-in-progress in that regard.

You are at Wendy's do you get the chocolate or the vanilla frosty?
Chocolate, of course. I have an addiction to chocolate!!

Stranded on an island with one celebrity who would it be?
Johnny Depp. I find him so interesting and I can only imagine I'd never get bored. Plus, he's nice to look at!

What does the future hold for Stacey Kennedy?
I’ve got a few things on the schedule right now. I’m currently working on MAGIC & MAYHEM #2, WITCHES BE DAZZLED, which has a release date of November 18, 2013. Then the next PACT OF SEDUCTION book will come out on September 24th. And we have BARED, CLUB SIN #2 to look forward to on January 21st. So, yes, lots and lots of stories on the go! FUN!

Ms. Kennedy does a fantastic job of creating characters that you can understand and relate to but also building a sensual and sexually tension filled story for the lives of the characters to play out. Ms. Kennedy also does a great job at explaining part of the BDSM lifestyle such as the difference and the importance of hard and soft limits, safewords and even the difference between a bedroom/dungeon Dom and a full time Master/slave relationship.

This story has tons of sexual tension, some smokin' hot BDSM scenes and two people who should be so different they don't match but find they have more in common than they know. Throw in a sassy fun room mate, 4 other sexy Dom's and a loser ex boyfriend and you have this great read that starts a series I will be following as they come out.

Ms. Monroe writes a story that is equal parts suspenseful murder mystery and BDSM erotic romance and makes it work. We have car chases, stabbings, shootings, stake outs, fire fights but we also have bondage, spanking, sexy shower sex and two alpha men who are like eager to please pups when it comes to Brooke. While this does have BDSM elements they are on the lighter end of the scale, this is not a heavily kink oriented book. We do have menage scenes but only one with true DP. Good sexy read, I am going to have to pick up the rest of the series.

Unlike most other authors, I started writing late in life. Writing stories in high school and college was not for me. Only after I graduated did I fall in love with romance novels. For the next twenty years, I read voraciously. It got to a point where my book buying habits cost as much as my groceries. At that point, my husband suggested I write a book. Hey, it looked easy, right? All the stories started in the same spot (hero and heroine at odds) and ended the same way (happily ever after). Only it was anything but easy. Ms. Kacey writes a sexy menage that gives you a glimpse into quite a bit of different kick from a scene with a little girl on girl action to bondage and use of a whip. The characters are easy to like and the play is hot. We also have a bit of a suspenseful element with some sabotage at the club.

This was a good read if you are looking for something fairly quick but still a full story that is smokin' hot.

It's been almost 4 years since I had that dream and I SWEAR I can close my eyes and still see the tears streaking down her face looking out the window. My husband always tells me that I have sci fi dreams and on most nights that is so true. I could fill pages and pages of paranormal scenes with them but those dreams were HOT with a capital Damn!!

Whatever precipitated those dreams I am so thankful for. I LOVE Writing! It is something so incredibly fulfilling to put your thoughts and dreams down on paper and have someone else read it and say, "WOW!" But it's something else entirely to have a writer read your work and say, "Holy WOW!"

Midnight Caller‏ by N J Cole

The hero in Midnight Caller is Oliver he is another species, Bocaj, that looks human but is really an alien race that migrated here after the loss of their own planet. His first glimpse of our heroine Rebecca is when she leaves her curtains open during some self love and he watches from across the street.

Once Oliver decides to pursue Rebecca, whom he calls Butterfly, as his next submissive he watches her almost 24/7, he manages to arrange that he works with her and of course he watches her in her apartment across the street. Rebecca has no idea that the good looking Oliver at work is really her Sir because every time they are together she is blindfolded first.

The story is a good one with unique challenges to the relationship and friends who provide advice as well as comic relief on occasion. This also has more sex per chapter than any other book I have read. Lots of bondage, spanking, use of toys and several hot interludes at work.

Looking for something to make your summer even hotter this one is for you.

There I was, nearly twenty-four hours after the mysterious phone call, lying in bed with my favorite toy at my fingertips. I masturbated almost every night.
