Jocelyn Dex lead us into a complex world of demons in Araya's Addiction. With Kean who is 1/8 Incubus (sex demon) and Araya who is 1/2 Sempire (a semen-reliant female demon) it is a different take on your paranormal romance and you know its going to be hot as hell (tee hee I make myself laugh)
I enjoyed this novella length book with the forced togetherness of Kean being kidnapped by Araya's mother to "service" her it could have been dicey but it is all written with a great deal of humor and with the main character, Araya, being the anomaly because she has a more human moral code.
Given the length of the book Ms Dex is able to provide a good look into each character in the book and the motivations behind their actions. I would love to see a future book about Araya's sister. For a book about sex demons the sex was fairly moderate.

Araya reached the door and the sight that met her eyes almost floored her. Through the fog of the glass shower door, she watched Kean’s muscled form beneath the flow of water, his head bent forward, one hand pressed against the shower wall in front of him. The other hand gripped his shaft. He pumped it with long, slow strokes from base to tip, sometimes lingering at the head.
His eyes opened as if he sensed her presence, and he inclined his head toward her. She wanted to close the door, but the alluring scene held her captive, her feet frozen in place.
