What happens when the paranormal world comes out? They move to the suburbs of course, suburbs of just paranormal beings.
When Alexandria Cartwright moves into just such a neighborhood she is anticipating having to never move again to hide from human suspicion and to enjoy mixing with the fae, weres, demons, witches, warlocks and other vampires. When things go from bad to worse between clumsy movers and then a break in she questions her decision, her hunky next door neighbor helps swing things in the direction of sticking around for a while.
Gregory Holmes is a werewolf, he has no problem mixing his dating up with other paranormals in fact he is rather taken with the sexy vamp that just moved in next door. In an effort to woo her Greg is going to do every thing he can to help her get back the things that were stolen at the same time proving to her that not all men are users and jerks.
What a great premise for a paranormal book, its kind of like Erma Bombeck meets Anne Rice :O) In addition to the element of suspense created by the search for the thieves we have the steamy hot romance that brews like a witches cauldron between Alexi and Greg. We also meet plenty of other secondary characters that are engaging and funny and will be wonderful heros and heroines of their own books one day soon.
