I enjoyed the action in this book both the action and the sexual "action", The plot moved fast and a lot of information is throw at you really fast trying to build the world this series is set in. Some of the transitions from paragraph to paragraph lost me a little but it overall is a good set up for a series and a fun book to read.
We have all sorts of our beloved paranormal friends with this authors take on their abilities and limitations. We have a paranormal law enforcement group, black market vampire parts and steamy love scenes in between finding Jes ex-husband and stopping him from hurting her and her daughter.

What a great premise for a paranormal book, its kind of like Erma Bombeck meets Anne Rice :O) In addition to the element of suspense created by the search for the thieves we have the steamy hot romance that brews like a witches cauldron between Alexi and Greg. We also meet plenty of other secondary characters that are engaging and funny and will be wonderful heros and heroines of their own books one day soon.

How did you get into writing? Was it an always wanted to or it just happened?
The day I sat down and wrote my first book was when I realized I wanted to be a writer. Honestly, it happened just like that. I had no dreams of becoming an author, but my love for books came from reading after my daughter was born. She slept A LOT in that first year, so it gave me a lot of time to sit and read. Then a story came to me, and that was that—my love for writing developed!
This is a contemporary book, you also write paranormal do you have a favorite?
My first love is the paranormal romance genre. It’s my favorite genre to read and I honestly have a total blast writing it. I’m totally one of those authors who write because I have fun doing it. All of my books are written for my own personal enjoyment and it just makes me so happy that other people enjoy them, too. But I also love sexy contemporary stories, so I couldn't actually say I have a favorite. Usually whatever story I'm working on is my favorite!
What do you read when you have a chance?
I adore Katie MacAlister’s dragon series and Sylvia Day’s Crossfire novels. I love Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Lux series. Jeaniene Frost is an auto-buy for me and I adore the Night Huntress world, especially Vlad. But Keri Arthur is, by far, my favorite author and who inspires me the most. I love everything about her books; the mystery, the sexual tension and the fantasy elements. Her Riley Jenson Guardian novels were the books that made me fall in love with the genre. Now, I’m totally obsessed with her Dark Angels novels and just can’t get enough!
You stopped smoking a little while back how is that going?
Well, I'm not a non-smoker. If there is beer or martinis around, I always crave one or two. Let's just say, I'm a work-in-progress in that regard.
You are at Wendy's do you get the chocolate or the vanilla frosty?
Chocolate, of course. I have an addiction to chocolate!!
Stranded on an island with one celebrity who would it be?
Johnny Depp. I find him so interesting and I can only imagine I'd never get bored. Plus, he's nice to look at!
What does the future hold for Stacey Kennedy?
I’ve got a few things on the schedule right now. I’m currently working on MAGIC & MAYHEM #2, WITCHES BE DAZZLED, which has a release date of November 18, 2013. Then the next PACT OF SEDUCTION book will come out on September 24th. And we have BARED, CLUB SIN #2 to look forward to on January 21st. So, yes, lots and lots of stories on the go! FUN!

This story has tons of sexual tension, some smokin' hot BDSM scenes and two people who should be so different they don't match but find they have more in common than they know. Throw in a sassy fun room mate, 4 other sexy Dom's and a loser ex boyfriend and you have this great read that starts a series I will be following as they come out.

We have car chases, stabbings, shootings, stake outs, fire fights but we also have bondage, spanking, sexy shower sex and two alpha men who are like eager to please pups when it comes to Brooke. While this does have BDSM elements they are on the lighter end of the scale, this is not a heavily kink oriented book. We do have menage scenes but only one with true DP. Good sexy read, I am going to have to pick up the rest of the series.

Unlike most other authors, I started writing late in life. Writing stories in high school and college was not for me. Only after I graduated did I fall in love with romance novels. Dragon shifters are some of my favorite and Ms. Lopez creates a fantastic lore for her dragon shifters from her history of the species with the Brotherhood and the Knights who are out to exterminate them to the need to go into a mating phase for eight days every three years. Dead Sexy Dragon is a fun and unique story that tests the male creed that says your friends sister is off limits.
Dead Sexy Dragon is the first in the Dragon Heat series and as such you get a lot of dragon history to set things up, you also get quite a bit of hot dragon shifter sexual tension. Stig has fought his attraction to Cora not only because she is his friends kid sister but also because of the difference in species. Cora has had a crush on Stig almost from the time they met.
Ms. Lopez sets up her new series and gives us a great love story at the same time with plenty of unrequited lust, conflict and in the end resolution, surprise, and sex :O)
