NetGalley Review: Lust Unleashed (Night Seekers #1) by Desiree Holt

Jonah Grey, driven by a lust for the blood of the legendary Chupacabra that murdered the woman who was to be his mate, jumps at the offer to leave the FBI and join Night Seekers, who are dedicated to hunting and killing the devil beast. Then Jonah encounters a woman with whom he shares explosive chemistry that neither can deny—and sex that brings a level of pleasure neither has ever known. Soon he’s dividing his time and indulging in erotic bouts of orgasmic lust with Dakota. But the devil beast must still be dealt with, and the wolf in Jonah won’t rest until the Chupacabra is dead.

I must tell you I was a bit wary of a book that involved the the Chupacabra but I have enjoyed Desiree Holt for some time and so I thought I would give it a try.

Jonah Gray is one of a team of former military and law enforcement officers who's lives have been altered because a loved one was killed by the Chupacabra.
They are brought together by billionaire Craig Stafford who's wife and child were killed, the objective of the team who named themselves the Night Seekers is to hunt and kill the Chupacabra. Most of the Night Seekers are shifters and Jonah is a wolf.

Jonah and Dakota meet while Jonah is on his first mission to track the Chupacabra after it has killed two hunters in Texas. The lust is immediate and hot steamy sex follows repeatedly.

Since one must suspend disbelief when reading paranormal romance anyway with shifters and the like stretching to include the Chupacabra really isn't that much of a difficulty. Desiree Holt always does a good job with giving us plenty of erotic in our erotic romance and enough back story and character development that it's a fun easy read.

I enjoyed this book a good deal it was a great step into the paranormal world while at the same time being a total panty dampener.
