Each of the books in this series are stand alone books, however you will get the most out of the series by reading them in the order the author intended. That being the case you can hurry and read the first three, Back Stage Pass, Rock Hard, and Hot Ticket, before this is released August 6th. You will be glad you did.
The chance for me to review the ARC copy of Wicked Beat just about mad my year, I read the first book in the Sinners On Tour series, Back Stage Pass, shortly after it came out in late 2010 and have waited on the edge of my seat for each book in the series to come out.
Wicked Beat is about Eric Sticks, drummer for the Sinners, he has been the guy who never seems to get the girl the the earlier books and finally he gets his. He is smitten speechless from the moment he meets Rebekah. Of course Trey Mills also thinks she is pretty hot and Eric doesn't think there is any way he can compete with smokin' hot Trey.
Rebekah is not happy that anything happened to her brother but she is pretty excited that his injury will give her a shot at being the front of house sound board operator for the Sinners. Rebekah has had a huge crush on Trey Mills for ever and this is finally her chance to seduce him. When she meets Eric he is hot but not Trey then she gets to know Eric, he is funny and talented and has a huge heart how can she not melt for him.
Ms. Cunning has done a fantastic job writing about the ins and outs of being a rock star and not just the glamours parts, she also writes a funny, hot as hell characters that you feel like you know. Wicked Beat is no exception I know I have had my heart ache for Eric on more than one occasion in prior books and for him to finally get his happy ever after is wonderful.
Ms. Cunning doesn't disappoint with Wicked Beat it is laugh until tears roll down your face funny in parts and change your panties hot in others.
