Night Visions is the first in a new series, Night series, and this looks to be a series to keep an eye on as they come.

Ms. Gray writes a contemporary world in which Samantha has nightmares and visions that destroy her sleep and voices in her head that give her pounding headaches. The visions are starting to have messages for her if she can just understand who they are warning her about.

Ian is Sam's one true love who left her broken hearted 6 years ago when he left without so much as a goodbye. With his return Sam is swept into wild situations she is having a hard time understanding or believing. Can Ian save Sam or is it Ian she needs to beware of.

I really enjoyed the reunion of past loves and Sam's secrets finally being revealed. I wish we had a bit more background and history for Sam and for Ian it almost felt like a second book and I had somehow missed the information about families and past relationships. The steam level was moderate and the paranormal elements are mixed in and revealed through the story.
